About

A little about me

I have loved practising yoga for ten years. Having played a lot of sport, I found relief from muscle stiffness and consequently felt energised and refreshed after every class. However it was not until I had had major cancer surgery and treatment that I realised the full extent of the broader health benefits. My strength, appearance and mind-body balance all improved beyond what I had expected and my feeling of wellbeing led to me becoming a teacher myself, specialising in Vinyasa and Yoga for Cancer.

My practice seeks to gently challenge and develop physical and mental resilience in a calm and restorative atmosphere. Being a people-centred person, I above all want my group to enjoy their class and emerge refreshed and ready for anything!

I was trained in Vinyasa by Julee Yew Crijns at Ebb and Flow. My training in Yoga for Cancer was delivered by Vicky Fox. In addition, my skills in counselling give me a further resource to call upon when working with clients who are either receiving treatment or in recovery. The combination of my Yoga for Cancer training and my Counselling skills create an ideal environment to work on treatment side-effects and create breath, movement and space.

Loving meeting new people and forming supportive groups within classes, I look forward to welcoming you to my studio!
